This splendid 4 star Hotel Zillertalerhof is right in the old centre of Mayrhofen, just 7mins walk from the gondola and very close to the village church. The ski bus stops outside the hotel. Everything is top Tyrolean quality (which is as good as it gets), and includes a superb indoor/outdoor swimming pool and lovely food in large quantities. Vegetarians have a big choice.
