Clubhotel Le Grand Aigle

Our ClubHotel in Serre Chevalier has ski-in and ski-out convenience plus easy access to Villeneuve. The hotel has a good range of public facilities.

The property is ideally situated right on a piste with guaranteed snow. Beginners can practice on the nursery slope by the hotel or walk for 10mins to the Frejus lift to be taken to a selection of easy slopes to start off from. More advanced skiers can ski for 2 minutes down to the Pontillas gondola and be taken straight up to the ski area. A red takes you back to the hotel. The Club Med just opposite was only built on condition that this run is kept open all season. In the evening it is a short walk to Villeneuve, which is quite lively and has lots of shops and facilities.

The Grand Aigle is officially a 2 star but it does have more public space and facilities for this standard. There are two large attractive restuarants and a huge public space with a comfortable lounge on the lower ground floor. The hotel also has a good bar with an open fire and a small dance floor adjacent. There is also a games area with pool table, table football, and arcade games.
From the ski room you exit to the car park next to the slopes. An atmospheric little bar with vaulted ceiling and rough stone walls is located in the annexe of the hotel. It's a genuine 17th century farm building with pillars and an open fire- the perfect place to get away and relax for the evening.
The bedrooms are simple, clean and comfortable. All have private facilities.
