The Grand Hotel Sestriere is a top quality hotel in the centre of Sestriere, near all the shops
and bars and about 5 mins walk from the slopes. There's a circulating skibus
as well. It is undergoing a refurbishment as we go to press and the plan
is to make it one of the best hotels in the region by next winter. The hotel
has 2 restaurants, which serve excellent food with a-la-carte options.
There's a cosy lounge with piano and fireplace, children's play area and
a quiet area with library if you want to brush up your Italian. The superb
facilities include games room and fitness centre with sauna
and spa. Children
are also well catered for with their own entertainments area.
The bedrooms are very comfortable, well furnished and nicely decorated. Some have a balcony and splendid views of the Downhill finish line.
