The Hotel Mirandola is luxurious and unique. The earliest records date back to the start of the 12th century when the hotel was originally run by the monks offering overnight stays to travellers passing over the Tonale Pass, even Carlo Magno stayed there on his way through. This probably makes the hotel one of the oldest and still operational hotels in Europe if not the world.
Recently completely overhauled and modernised yet at the same time retaining all of the original architecture, design and features, bringing this almost 900 year hotel into the 21st Century. Whilst the original bedrooms are still bedrooms and the restaurant still the restaurant, a new addition to the hotel is the Wellness Centre with its sauna, jacuzzi, showers and relax rooms.
The Mirandola has a fantastic location, right on the main slopes and for intermediates you can ski in and ski out. The village centre is 10 mins walk, which is no problem, because you don't do it in ski boots. We have a store by the lift. All the public areas are beautifully presented. There are 2 large restaurants and a relaxing bar.
The spacious bedrooms have superb furnishings and décor. They all have safe, TV, telephone and good views.
