Chalet Aiguille Blanche
- perfectly positioned on the slopes yet in the heart of the village
- traditionally built Savoyarde chalet
- all rooms have their own en-suite
The Aiguille Blanche is a brand-new but traditionally built chalet owned by two brothers. One is a carpenter and the other works with the Ski School. The chalet is built to an impressive standard, inside and out, using top notch, light-coloured pine. There is a general air of high quality. The combined lounge and dining room is large, bright and airy and has a cosy open fire, satellite TV, DVD, sofas and soft chairs for about 20. The other end of the room has a dining table and double-doors out to the large balcony. The furniture is good quality and the warm wooden panelling décor creates exactly the right ski house atmosphere. Opposite is a modern kitchen, a public WC with wash-basin, and two bedrooms. The upper floor contains 7 more. All bedrooms have radiators or under floor heating and shower room with WC, wash-basin and heated towel rail. Four rooms have balcony, two have mezzanine floor and some rooms are under the eaves, with plenty of headroom and an automatic Velux window.
Full rooming: 2 doubles, 1 double with single, 2 doubles with a single on a mezzanine floor, 2 twins, 2 three bedded with a single on the mezzanine floor.
Chalet Board
We employ excellent hosts and housekeepers who take care of your creature comforts
and are very much a part of the social scene during your holiday. They know
the skiing and will have lots of local information for you. For breakfast, there
is a substantial buffet with ham, salami, cheese and cereals in addition to
the usual bread and preserves. When you come back from skiing there's always
cakes and coffee or tea, and at dinner, three excellent courses with free wine.
Cook's Night Off
On one day of the week, the host has a day off so you need to buy dinner. We
always plan this as part of your après ski entertainment and will book
a high value fun-filled evening in a local restaurant if you wish.
